This podcast seems a bit more laidback than some of the earlier ones, mellower maybe. It ranges across a very broad spectrum of musical styles that may leave some listeners undecided, but hopefully each track manages to walk with the other. From punk's now sadly parted grand-meister Ian Dury and the Blockheads the scene shifts to Sly and the Family Stone, a quick gasp of some Fresh Air before we head into Depression era gospel by Alfred Karnes.
Manu Dibango recedes let the Steve Miller Band in experimental mode turn on Jackson-Kent Blues, before another Depression era tune from the Carolina Tar Heels. DMZand then the Crawdaddys for a complete change of pace, before Australia's Ed Kuepper does his wonderful version of "Highway to Hell". Finishing up with a track from Frank Zappa's first album "Freak Out" and segueing out with some feedback by the Grateful Dead. Don't know how you would go about googling this show, though there are many well-known artists represented to be picked up by Google. All this chat about Google is a brazen attempt to see if it picks up anymore listeners, haha. Only time and Google will tell, hope you like the mix....
